Le Capitaine Fracasse plot
The renowned swordsman, Baron Sigognac alias "Capitan Fracassa", is in love with the actress Isabelle. He follows and defends her theater company on a journey. The Duke of Vallombrosa, who does not like Isabelle, kidnaps her out of jealousy. The presence of a bunch of bandits makes the adventure even more complicated, but thanks to a mysterious ring, the duke in Isabelle recognizes his daughter. Will Captain Fracassa finally be able to resolve the argument with her father so that he can marry the actress?
