Le Avventure di Mary Read plot
Mary Read is an adventurer in the 17th century and extremely skilled at disguising herself as a handsome young man. She tries to rob elderly rich women of their jewelry. But one day she is caught by the police and locked up in prison. Coincidentally, her cellmate is a good-looking young man. They manage to escape and Mary discovers that her companion was no ordinary thief, but Peter Godwin, son of a lord.
