La Soupe aux Choux plot
Retired Claude and François are enjoying their old age by cultivating their small garden outside the village. One evening they are visited by an alien. Claude offers the creature a bowl of cabbage soup, which the creature tastes so good that he takes a whole cauldron of it into space. Claude's soup is also very popular on the mother planet. As a token of thanks, the space creature brings Claude's young wife, who died many years ago, back to life.
