Abduction: The Megumi Yokota Story plot
"One girl. Two nations. The shocking truth."
It seems like a missing persons case like many: in 1977 the 13-year-old Japanese Megumi Yokota went missing without a trace after she walked to school in her hometown of Niigata. But behind this drama, after years of research, it turns out that there is a large-scale conspiracy. Megumi and several others have been kidnapped by North Korean spies to act as training partners for colleagues who must pose as real Japanese. Megumi's parents and other families force the Japanese government of President Koizumi to take action to get their children back.
