Agent Dick Steele must prevent General Rancor from destroying the world with a special missile, for which he is only missing a certain computer chip. This chip was invented by Professor Ukrinsky, whose daughter Steele wants to cooperate in this case, unaware that she is a KGB agent.

Reasonable parody with Leslie Nielsen, who plays a kind of James Bond in this film.
Nielsen is dry as always, but the film itself certainly does not reach the level of The Naked Gun on the whole, but there are some funny moments and cameos. mr. For example, T. has a nice contribution in the opening scene. In between the level often drops a bit, but luckily there is also something fun that comes along and it goes on constantly. The best moment for me remains the horse chase where True Lies is a bit taken for a ride.
Sometimes nice, sometimes not, but pretty good to watch.

Well, grew up with it.
Nielsen's bland underpants fun (pun intended) isn't for everyone.
I've always appreciated it quite a bit.
Well, not all jokes are successful and sometimes the level is very bland, but in general this "Spy Hard" is nice and fast and knows how to keep it entertaining.
Nielsen himself provides most of the "magic". His dry mind at the most absurd things remains the key to liking this film for me. Because his charisma is so contrary to the humor, it sometimes gets funny.
A funny movie every now and then.

Average comedy starring great Leslie Nielsen. Not special, but certainly not without some nice moments. At times it resembles the Naked Gun trilogy, but Spy Hard can't reach its level. That said, anyone who is a fan of Nielsen can have their fun with this film. Nielsen's facial expressions (his head in general) again play a crucial role in the film's comedic quality. People who have nothing to do with Nielsen will come off penniless. He simply carries the film on his shoulders.
Spy Hard is a parody that ridicules some great movies. The story is wafer thin and the effects look pretty bad, but that's what gives the film its charm. Quite strange when you read that the budget is about 18 million. Looks like a much cheaper movie. Fortunately, the film does not get boring and the fine playing time of 81 minutes helps with this. 'Weird Al' Yankovich provides the intro and he does it in a nice way. Spy Hard is a dime a dozen film but I never felt like I was watching a misfire of a movie. Just enough.
