The Good Life plot

Jason Prayer lives in a typical small American town in Nebraska. The kind of town where you're not something until you're a local football star. That's not Jason, he works at a gas station and at the local movie theater run by the demented Gus. The psychological situation surrounding Gus gradually gets Jason into trouble, and he also has to deal with the idiotic, arrogant football star Tad. Fortunately, there's also some relaxation through the beautiful, mysterious Frances and a newcomer to town, the classic movie buff Robbie.
