Hura Gâru plot
"They danced their way into the hearts of a nation."
In 1965, the dreary coal mining town of Joban finds itself in a downward spiral, which the city elders desperately try to break. One of them, the determined Yoshimoto, gets the idea to make a Hawaii center as a tourist magnet, with hula dancing by the locals as the main draw. He hires a professional dancer from Tokyo, one Madoka Hirayama, to teach.
