While attending his brother's funeral, Jonathan Drake comes to the shocking discovery that the deceased's head has disappeared. He realizes that an ancient curse cast on his grandfather by a tribe of South American Jivaro Indians still continues and that he himself will likely be the next victim. The following night, he is threatened by a dark Indian, whose lips are sewn shut.
