We follow a veteran of the first Gulf War, who went on to serve in Afghanistan and Iraq, who discovers that after years of traumatic events, returning to ordinary civilian life is just a hopeless dream. Jerry was a patriotic reservist in the Navy during his service in the first Gulf War, driven by a desire to protect his countrymen.
