Reasonable film about a boy who plays a new computer game that seems very realistic. A great setup for a film like this. The whole thing also has a great mysterious atmosphere. The ending is a bit predictable and easy, but the rest of the film is easy to watch. Edward Furlong is well cast, but this is certainly not his best role.

No, I can't do anything with this at all. Total lack of that atmosphere that is so characteristic of a horror film. This is not a horror movie but more of a teenage movie with a completely unbelievable story. One of those guys who commits some of those gruesome murders. Come on. You don't believe that yourself. All that may be a dream, but still. By the way, I was really annoyed by those pants. The Brainscan player should actually have been played by the girl next door. Then it would have become something fun for me at least. But hey, I just like bad girls. Kimberly, the girl next door and Woef - you know that faithful four-legged friend with that sawed-off foot in his mouth - are the only ones who get a passing grade from me. For the rest, quickly forget this lame video that I watched with great difficulty.

It's been years since I've seen this, but I felt like watching it again. It remains one of my favorites. So cool.
