Catacombs plot
"Below the city of lights exists a world of darkness."
A young woman goes on a trip abroad with her friends for the first time. Once in Paris, they attend a party held in the Parisian underground catacombs of the 14th century, where the bodies of 7 million people are kept. When she loses her friends and gets lost in the maze, she gets the feeling that something bad is haunting her.

At the beginning of the film, it seemed to be a weak horror film.
Setting was nice, atmosphere reasonable, but the main character came across as hopeless so that there was soon no more tension. Which was partly because the 'infester' didn't make much of an impression on me.
After a long wait, it still took a pleasant turn. The scenes with Henri in particular caused some confusion.
Despite the twist and climax, the second part of the film couldn't save the furniture.

Little expected from this movie, after seeing the average. But still quite entertained. To start with, the setting was very good and the gloomy dark corridors provided extra atmosphere. Despite the fact that little happened, I continued to watch with fascination. However, the lousy ending disappointed me.

Another horror movie where every second is predictable. I saw the end coming from miles away. Catacombs does have a great ending though. When you see the movie, you'll understand why. The film has a decent actress in the lead role and the locations could already be worth enough. Why the makers keep Victoria running through the same twenty meters of corridors over and over is a mystery to me. Other than that, I really haven't seen anything worth seeing. Everything has been done hundreds of times before and often a lot better. Don't waste your time on this crap.
