Windkracht 10: Koksijde Rescue plot
After an 'incident' during a reception for the highest military commander, diver Rick Symons is sent to the 40th Search and Rescue squadron in Koksijde. Rick is included in an equally competent and distinct Sea King crew. His biggest surprise is Alex, the female medic, with whom he has had a small skirmish before. The transfer to Koksijde forces Rick into yet another confrontation: his past.

A little too dramatic here and there and the romance between Rick and Alex is very fiery.
Furthermore, it is an entertaining film and the helicopter scenes are still quite good.

No, this is not it.
While the series could enchant me enormously as a little boy, this film certainly could not convince me as an adult.
I especially missed the humor! + The old base and yes also Andrea hihi. Actually the whole old crew. Only Warre, Koen and Ludo are old servants.
The story is very mediocre to bad.
Nice to have in my DVD collection, but give me the series.

Rapid.
I've never watched the series, but luckily, according to some reviews, it's pretty much separate from the movie, and I had no trouble understanding the story either. Actually, I watched the film by Janssens, who I also liked in one of my favorite films, Revenge.
Made by our neighbors, and they didn't do a bad job. Of course it wasn't terribly spectacular as you might expect from the name, but that didn't bother me in the end. I knew that with a budget of 4.5 million, there would be no big spectacles.
Cast acts reasonable, visually okay. Story is a bit cliche and we have seen it much more often, which is a shame, but not a nuisance. Just gets a nice enough, great film from Belgium from me
