With his docufilm, Weerasethakul creates a diverse portrait of a country with a cast of characters, treating the city as the countryside/jungle. Documentary and fiction alternate. In that respect top and bottom Weerasethakul. I found it a bit confusing at times.
The film offers a fine portrait, a kind of road movie, of Thailand and its inhabitants. That alone is fascinating and not a punishment to watch.
