Gwoomul

Nice horror movie. Not everything works, and especially the sometimes theatrical acting was sometimes disturbing. The film is also long, and the focus could have been more on a small group of characters that take on a large and bloodthirsty monster. Some other storylines are also introduced in Gwoemul and at a certain point the Americans also get involved, but that is not the greatest strength of the film. That's when certain characters take on the monster in dark rooms. The ending is a fantastic ending.

A film that pokes fun at itself and, to be honest, it doesn't go well for him. Apart from the fact that the CGI isn't that perfect - which in itself doesn't bother me either - the film is very unbalanced. It is certainly not a comedy, but the film contains many humorous and absurd touches that simply do not catch on. The light-hearted approach tends to backfire.

In addition, take the very theatrical acting at times and you soon come to a lot of annoyances. I also don't want to burn the film down completely. It was amusing and the idea also had something, but there are too many peripheral factors that have a negative influence. The product also seems ill-considered and underdeveloped to me. Take the monster itself, for example, in which people hardly frame their (strange) behavior. And when the monster is around, the police or the army are left behind, especially in the end ...

The family is also just a mixed bag of people with hardly any resemblance. Clichés also crop up every now and then. Still a solid start, only it was watered down very quickly. Still entertaining despite all the negativity.

Not really great and ok msschn also a bit dated, mr found the story and explanation rather boring and very predictable ending. Humor was also not my thing at all, I also found it quite overacting.
