There's Only One Jimmy Grimble plot
Things are not going well for 16-year-old Jimmy Grimble. In his dreams, he is the star player of Manchester City football club and the beautiful Sara is his girlfriend. But the football is not going so well and when Sara appears, he shuts in embarrassment. One day he meets a mysterious old lady who gives him a pair of worn-out, as she herself says magical, football boots from the great Robbie Brewer, a former Manchester City player. Jimmy only half believes it, but soon becomes convinced of the shoes' supernatural powers. When Jimmy is surprised to be selected for the school team, he goes all out and scores the decisive goal. From that point on, Jimmy's going uphill: Sara takes an interest in his life and Jimmy's excellent play leads the school team to the school cup final...
