Static, low budget mixture of plot elements from The Thing and The Ritual, although that may sound more interesting than it is. The extremely slow pace and the poor acting really detract from the atmosphere, and when it comes to special effects or impressive production design, you've come to the wrong place. And yet... gradually the events start to become somewhat interesting and there are also a number of genuinely scary scenes. Towards the end everything gets better and better. All in all, nothing to write home about, but given the limited resources, director Nick Szostakiwskyj has managed to make something of it.

Entertaining ode to / rip off from. Anyway; it is refreshing that a director does not overestimate himself and simply goes back to a formula that has already been perfected and tries to repeat it himself. And compared to the remake of the Thing (three years earlier), it is refreshing to only have grumpy people together. With limited resources, it is still fascinating for the entire duration. You shouldn't expect much more than that.

Just poorly acted nonsense that bores more than it fascinates. Rightly received generally bad reviews, there are incredibly few good horrors....geeeeeeeuwwww
