Henry VI, Part One plot
Henry V is dead and the English face setbacks in the war against France. Calling on the French to resist, La Pucelle defeats the English army, led by Talbot. Meanwhile, tensions in England are also rising. The rivalry between the Earl of York and the Earl of Somerset escalates to a civil war known as the 'war of the roses'. Henry must find a way to end the civil war while also trying to end the war between England and France.
