The Secret Fury plot
"The Stranger at her wedding was a messenger of Fear and Evil!"
During Ellen and David's wedding ceremony, someone responds to the phrase "if anyone objects to these people getting married...". He claims that Ellen is already married. Ellen makes a big mistake and during her long journey to prove this, the one she is supposedly already married to dies. She is also charged with his death. David believes her and tries to find out what conspiracy is behind this.

solid crime mystery noir in which a young woman who is about to get married during the ceremony is confronted with the fact that she is already married to someone else.
She claims it is a lie, but when she digs into the past together with her future husband and family, every witness seems to know her as the wife of the other man.
Things get even more complicated when she tracks down her alleged ex and he is subsequently murdered and she is charged.
the final plot denouement may be a bit far-fetched, but all in all this is a solid thriller with a quite exciting denouement.
