Notes on Blindness plot
At age thirteen, John Hull develops cataracts. Operations follow but to no avail. Thirty years later - Hull is now a theology professor, happily married to Claire and father of two small children - the last streak of light disappears and he is completely blind. Although he had seen it coming for a long time, it hits him hard. In order not to die, Hull starts an audio diary. The sixteen hours of spoken text that he saves in three years are later converted into a book and form the basis for “Notes on Blindness”.
