Waikiki Wedding plot

Georgia Smith (Shirley Ross), the beautiful winner of a pineapple company's "Miss Pineapple Princess" pageant, takes a commercial tour of the islands of Hawaii. However, she finds the environment and the journey uninteresting and wants to return to the mainland. Tony Marvin (Bing Crosby), the pineapple company's PR man, must now use all his business and romantic talents to convince the beauty queen that she should stay.
