"Framed for a crime he didn't commit... Fighting to prove his innocence!"
Tormented by the death of his younger brother, Tom Durling wants to leave Chicago and move to California to make a fresh start. For this he hopes to sell his car for a good price and has an appointment with a couple who are interested in the car. However, the couple has no intentions to buy the car, they only want a fast car to commit a robbery. They flee from the scene of the crime, leaving behind a dead police officer and an unconscious Tom with a gun in hand. The police charges him for the murder and Tom sees his last hopes melt away when the only witness, Steve Reynolds, dies. Tom escapes and flees to Reynolds' sister before they decide to team up to catch the real criminals.
