"They're about to break the ice."

Like her parents, Jackie (Romano) is a figure skater, but an injury keeps her in need of a skating partner. While on vacation in California, she meets Alex (Thomas), a talented surfer and skater, and they fall in love. They decide to enter a figure skating competition together. The sequel and also a remake of the 1992 film 'The Cutting Edge'.
