Pascal, the ten-year-old son of Laurent (William Holden), became infected with radioactive radiation caused by a crashed plane during a diving trip with his father. The doctors give him only six months to live, so his father decides to give his son the best six months of his life.

The film seems, given the title, to be a Christmas film, but in fact the film does not manage to give this warm feeling of Christmas at all due to the sad theme. The story progresses slowly without causing boredom, but at a certain point you get the impression that many similar scenes pass by. William Holden plays a somewhat distant father who has his heart in the right place. Virna Lisi is a pleasant discovery and we know Bourvil from the films with Louis de Funès. He would die a year later after this film. 6/10
