Dexter's Laboratory Ego Trip plot
One day, the clever boy Dexter is visited by a group of evil robots, who want to destroy the boy because he has saved the future. Dexter easily defeats the robots, but is curious how he will save the future. He decides to get into his time machine and find himself in the future. But every future he finds himself in and every version of himself he encounters turns out not to be as positive and spectacular as the boy had hoped. And so Dexter is doing everything he can to change this.
