The Messengers plot

The Solomon family has traded the rushed life of Chicago for a remote farm in North Dakota. Amid the tranquility and fields of sunflowers, 16-year-old Jess discovers just how terrifying their isolation can be when she and her young brother Ben perceive ominous ghosts that no one else can see. No one believes her, even when the apparitions turn violent. Confronted with the dark past of the house's previous occupants, Jess can only hope she's being listened to before it's too late.

Solid horror, which is lifted to a higher level by the direction and the beautiful visual appearance. Story is again one big cliché. Family moves into new (haunted) house, it's haunted, nobody believes it's haunted except 1 person. In the end she is believed, some action follows, blah blah. Whatever. Enjoyed the look and character of the movie more than the plot.
