Alex is the oldest video game tester in the world at 35 years old. During the night hours he is busy developing a new Xbox game. It's just not it all. The idea is quite nice, but it goes especially wrong in the execution, where some characters come by, who are really far from funny.
That Nick Swardson, along with the person who plays JP, is the biggest disaster of all. Really painfully un-funny at the times when they try to be funny. Fortunately, there are also some successful moments and characters in it. That sun-tanned guy who sells drugs, etc. is funny. The party with grandma and her friends is still quite successful.
But those moments are just a bit more sparse than the annoying moments. In addition, Allen Covert is not really a very strong or funny protagonist. All in all Grandma's Boy has a nice premise, but the interpretation is nowhere near funny enough.

Disappointing film in which a tester of computer games is forced to live with his grandmother if he has not paid the rent. In itself a nice starting point for a bland comedy. However, the jokes are of an adolescent level and actually not funny at all. Furthermore, the characters are annoying and Allen Covert in the lead role is also not a success.

In the right state of mind, this film is very enjoyable, a bit bland here and there, but the characters (and especially the main character Alex) are interesting to follow.
It is a real stoner movie, so seeing this movie under the influence is definitely recommended (can also be done with alcohol 
)
This film does exactly what you would expect and is not an accumulation of boring clichés.
