Komitas plot

Inspired by the life and work of the Armenian monk and composer Komitas (1869-1935) (Samvel Ovasapian) He recorded a collection of three thousand Armenian folk tunes around 1900. He set them to music and wrote polyphonic scores for choirs. He traveled around the world and became famous until the First World War, when the Turks saw the opportunity to decimate 75% of the Armenian population. He stopped composing and did not put a letter on paper. He died in 1935 in an insane asylum near Paris.
