Saraband for Dead Lovers plot
"A Romance that rocked the Thrones of Kings."
William of Celle and his wife Eleanore have a daughter, Sophia Dorothea. His younger brother, Ernest Augustus, reigns in Hanover. He is married to Sophia, daughter of the king of Bohemia. Together they have several children, the eldest of which is George Lewis. Then, politically, Sophia Dorothea is forced to marry her cousin, George Lewis, much to her and her mother's regret. George Lewis is also not satisfied with this decision. However, Sophia Dorothea tries to make the best of it according to the circumstances.
