Bells of San Fernando plot
"The bells that rang out gold . . . romance . . . oppression!"
Juan Mendoza has found the perfect hiding place for his gang of criminals. The town of San Fernando is completely surrounded by mountains and the only road into the valley is a narrow, heavily guarded mountain pass. The people of San Fernando are prisoners in their own homes, whoever wants to escape is killed. Two of the residents, Maria Garcia and Michael O'Brien, have fallen in love. When Mendoza announces that he will marry Maria, Michael makes a plan to escape and return with reinforcements to break Mendoza's regime.
