The Cross and the Switchblade plot

"One man's desperation. Another man's hopeful journey."

This film shows us the raw life of New York youth gangs and drug addiction. It is a true story about the courage of a country preacher (David Wilkerson) who goes into the ghettos to contact the youth gangs and the addicts, to show them the true love of God. His confrontation with Nicky Cruz, the feared mob leader of the Mau Maus, causes a dramatic change for Nicky and many others.
