The true-to-fact story about Laura Henderson, one of Britain's most prominent and eccentric pre-WWII society figures. Henderson founded the historic Windmill Theatre, legendary for its nude revue shows. This variety show lady, always assisted by her friend and theater manager Vivian Van Damm, with whom she had a love-hate relationship, fought fiercely against what she saw as ridiculous censorship. She also single-handedly ensured that her theater kept morale high during WWII.
