A young but beautiful Bette Davis in the role of the fatal woman.

Good, but a bit rushed and neglecting details in the story towards the end.

If you can view this movie from a red pill perspective like in my case then you have to come to the conclusion that the character Mildred (a little exaggerated but that makes no difference in the base) is the only authentic character, the rest of Philip's romances fall purely and only in the disney fairy tale profession of the romantic fantasy .
The fact that she constantly falls for the wrong men but actually despises him is strongly portrayed and Bette Davis plays her role very strongly in that regard, in real life it often goes the same way, there are many women like Mildred who think so highly they have the idea that they constantly make the stupidest choices with the most wrong men and pay the hard price for it when they grow older.
That Philip is of course allowed to serve as a safety net as soon as she gets into trouble through her own fault is no surprise, but what he is mistaken about is that women are incapable of gratitude in this capacity.
In fact, she will only despise him even more, and that is perfectly reflected in the scene in which she destroys his house
the film actually limps on 2 thoughts because the other ladies in Philip's life seem to want to prove that the good ladies do exist, but the fact is that those characters TOV Mildred don't show very much depth.
If you want to translate it to modern times, the Mildreds of this world are in the majority, but the
Sara's and the Nora's will be very hard to find, a fact for which we can thank Feminism, among others.
