Epoch: Evolution plot
The Chinese blew up a random Russian-American space station. The two nations are outraged and war is imminent. This somehow causes two alien objects to emerge from the ground: one that heals and one that destroys. If the radiations from these two objects collide, all humanity will be wiped out. Dr. Mason Rand's son can prevent this.
