"A love-struck Italian poet is stuck in Iraq at the onset of an American invasion."
La Tigre e la Neve tells the story of the poet Attilio de Giovanni (Roberto Benigni) who falls head over heels in love with war journalist Vittoria (Nicoletta Braschi), who is sent to Iraq. He travels after her, despite the war that is taking place. The film is set during the American and Allies invasion of Iraq in 2004.
