Luke, President Davenport's thirteen-year-old son, is unwillingly left with a new bodyguard, Sam Simms. Although the reckless Sam initially doesn't get along at all with the cocky Luke, after a while he understands that the boy's life is not easy at all as the son of the president. Especially at school, Luke remains an outsider and bullying is rife. Sam suddenly realizes that he and Luke may have more in common than he initially thought.
