It's a shame no one here explains why you *must* see this film. So, I saw it, and I found it a somewhat vague film. Intriguing in parts, yes, but Laetitia Masson doesn't make clear what actually motivates her characters. It is about a free-spirited woman who sets her own rules regarding her dealings with men. She abandons her future husband, and a friend of the man sets out to investigate and look for her. And beyond that, we don't learn much. Solid acting by Sandrine Kiberlain, who is always a pleasure to watch, Sergio Castellitto as the friend who goes investigating, and Jean-François Stévenin as the abandoned lover who just had to get married. The film appears to be part of a trilogy, but I haven't seen the other parts.
