Speer und Er plot

Film tells the story of the bond between Hitler and his home architect and armaments minister, Albert Speer. Speer continued to intrigue: how could he say he didn't know much, didn't know the worst things, yet be such an important man in the conduct of Hitler's war? What value should be attached to the argument that he saw himself primarily as a 'technician' and carried out his work by professional standards, but had no idea what else was going on?
