He's My Girl plot

Bryan and Reggie are two best friends who are in the local music scene. When Reggie enters Brian into a music contest for a chance to go to Los Angeles, they win that contest. Brian wants to go to Los Angeles with Reggie, but is told he can only bring a girl. Reggie decides to dress up as a woman and go along as Brian's friend Regina. It proves difficult to maintain this facade when both Brian and Reggie fall in love.
