India, in the sixteenth century. Undefeated fighter Bajirao Balal has the honor of holding the title of Peshwa/Prime Minister on behalf of Hindu Maratha King Shahu. In the ever-growing kingdom of Maratha, Bajirao Balal grows with you as a passionate war fighter. During a camping night with his troops, a horseman approaches Bajirao with an urgent request to save Bundelkhand. A fortress belonging to another Hindu king and under siege by the Moguls, Bajirao's greatest enemy. Bajirao refuses at first, but is enchanted at the sight of the ... horseman: a beautiful Rajput princess named Mastani, daughter of Hindu king Raja Chattrasal. Mastani has been on the road for days to ask for help. However, Bajirao is married to a devoted woman who is much loved by the Peshwa and the Maratha family. Despite the fact that Bajirao cares deeply about his wife, he cannot contain his love for Mastani.
