Into the Sun plot
When the governor of Tokyo is assassinated, ex-CIA agent Travis Hunter (Steven Seagal) is tasked with finding the killers. He learns that this murder is just the beginning of a series of attacks; a yakuza leader wants to build a huge drug network together with the chinese mafia. Hunter must infiltrate the organization to prevent the plan from being carried out. Time is running out and the situation becomes more and more dangerous for Hunter.

Nice Seagal job.
Had seen it before, I was halfway behind, but oh well. For the most part no action, but a slightly nicer plot than most Seagal films, so that fills the gap sufficiently.
He acts pretty nice here, his Japanese sounds more than fine and it's all played very smoothly anyway. As you call it a bite-swallow way, a typical snack that you don't have to think about and just sit and watch for 90 minutes. I don't expect more, nor do I need to do more.
Fortunately, at the end he goes wild for a while, always great to see that boss at work 
. There are still many DVDs of his, I'm really looking forward to it again, on to the next one.

Another typical Seagal movie: a wafer-thin story and some fun action scenes. Seagal is doing quite well again, although of course you can't call him a great actor.

Not a big action fest with explosions what you get from the image. Still entertaining to watch. Seagal just plain killing a Yakuza gang. Don't think but look. It would have been nicer if there was a little more action. But still an entertaining movie. Especially if Seagal is playing with a samurai again. 3.5.
