Hawaii, Oslo plot
Frodo and Milla have just had a child and have been told it does not have long to live. Bobbie is a woman who abandoned her children 11 years ago and regularly tries to commit suicide. Leon suffers from kleptomania and has been hospitalized for it, he longs for Åsa who promised to marry him ten years ago. Trygve is Leon's brother and is in prison. But he is allowed on leave to celebrate Leon's birthday. And then there's Vidar, another resident of the facility who sees things no one sees. All these people get to interact with each other on the hottest day of the year in Oslo.
