During a Miss Islands election, a Turkish man is staying at the hotel Perla Parlas. When he falls in love with the Miss pageant winner, he decides to take her abroad. However, her parents are against this and their relationship is on the rocks. For thirty-five years, he has been coming every year to the hotel Perla Parlas to visit his girlfriend.
