Holly Hunter is hilarious as a bad-ass bitch who gives chase to a duo who should have been paired up. Despite the short skirmishes beforehand, I just didn't realize that Hunter and Delroy Lindo had to bring the couple together and did the most breakneck feats for that. Really felt like they were being bribed by Diaz's dad to finish them off. So more fun by not seeing the plot description.

That's fine with someone like Boyle. Someone I trust almost blindly to create something interesting. Also here, like that scene in which Diaz pursues her hobby and she stands in the middle of the frame, in the center of a brightly shining sun, which immediately makes her composition a bit more powerful, especially because she towers far above the empty background.

Ewan mc Gregor in a movie that's made for him. His somewhat dumb, good-natured demeanor contrasts perfectly with Diaz`s shrewd tactics to avoid the clutches of her opponents. It leads to funny exchanges, in which Mc Gregor feels his honor has been damaged and starts to beat around himself rudely and robustly, a somewhat bad quality that makes both of them now in such a precarious situation.

A Life Less Ordinary is scandalously underrated here. Several subgenres are reviewed, led by fresh images, humor!, some action and a danceable soundtrack that perfectly captures the intensity of certain situations. It really takes Boyle no effort to mix genres so beautifully. Even a hugely successful rom-com! Touching again. Very pleasant whirlwind that passed me at a very fast pace. 4*

Lots of Boylerian fantasy in this action-packed but somewhat chaotic rom-com that is close to the crime film. I found the contribution of the father figure unnecessary. I also didn't think the approach of the two angels (Hunter / Lindo) to the couple was very successful.

Diaz and McGregor are not always believable as a couple who are falling for each other, and the film only really comes to life in a few rare scenes such as the karaoke scene and the romantic poem of the angel reading Diaz. So mixed feelings about this movie; Pretty fun at times, a bit too far-reaching at other times.

Nice film in which two angels are instructed to make two people fall in love with each other. A smooth, comical crime film with a nice soundtrack. The story is not too much and because of this it sometimes collapses a bit. Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz make a fresh couple here. Nice credits too.
