Ridicule plot

"Wit is the ultimate weapon."

Versailles, 1780 at the court of Louis XVI. Grégoire Ponceludon de Malavoy comes to court. He wants to ask the emperor to invest money in one of his projects. He has devised an ingenious plan to drain the swamps and thus prevent diseases. He has a little hope that the Emperor will find this an interesting project. Grégoire finds out that corruption is rampant and will have to find another way to get the Emperor's attention.
