Un Mundo Menos Peor plot
48-year-old Isabelle, recovering from a serious illness, wants her eldest daughter Sonia to meet her father Cholo. Cholo disappeared during the junta in Argentina when Isabella was pregnant. Now her brother has encountered Cholo in a village on the coast, where he turns out to have a bakery. Isabelle, Sonia and Beba, Isabelle's seven-year-old daughter from another relationship, leave for the village. Their arrival causes a lot of gossip and suspicion, because the villagers only know Cholo as their friendly, quiet baker and know nothing of his combative past. Isabelle wants to bring up this past, but in order to preserve her life, Cholo, after years of imprisonment, torture and humiliation, has tried to forget his past life, including Isabelle. Isabelle and her daughters try to break through Cholo's emotional wall.
