"What was love?"
In this story we are transported into the world of İlyas, a truck driver, his new wife Asya and their young son Samet. But the legendary love between Asya and İlyas is soon disrupted by jealousy, an alcohol addiction and extramarital affairs. İlyas eventually leaves his family and the desperate Asya is now forced to take care of their son alone. She patiently awaits her husband's return... until she meets Cemşit, a sympathetic man whom Samet soon begins to see as a father. When Asya finally gives in to his expressions of love, life takes a completely different turn. But then, years later, İlyas suddenly appears out of nowhere and demands his wife and child back. Should Asya choose the man she fell in love with at first sight; or for Cemşit, the man who gave her so much?
