I think the creators had just played some cheap NES RPG and wanted to adapt it into a film...

After the first half hour I almost gave up but I finished it and it was still enjoyable! Meh

the cheap ending could have been a minute longer...but oh well

This troop was recorded at the time with a Bolex H16 camera.

Director Brett Piper sought advice from a distributor to make an action film without dialogue. The same distributor subsequently complained that there was no dialogue. On the DVD, Piper expressed his dissatisfaction with the film during the audio commentary.

A troma film with an intriguing plot. Here it is: only a few have survived a nuclear war, and the survivors must navigate a hostile post-apocalyptic world where not every survivor remains human. Nuclear radiation has created all sorts of mutated forms of humanity. There are vicious lizard-people who prey on humans. And for inexplicable reasons, terrifying dinosaurs also roam the earth.

Both the dinosaurs and the lizard people pose a threat to main character Lea. She's a survivor who looks like a fierce warrior (though not really) and is constantly trying to avoid being fed to the dinosaurs, raped by rough men, or kidnapped by the lizard people. That doesn't sound very intriguing to begin with. It sounds rather ridiculous. But then again, the film title did that too. But then again, it implied "Nymphoid action." And that's not impossible in a troma film and offers hope. False hope, as it turns out. The "Nymphoid action" certainly has nothing to do with nymphomania. I counted one stray female nipple. And I almost missed it, too.

What we're dealing with here is nonsensical trash. And trash it is. Everything about the film is bad and cheap. The acting is terrible. There's barely any story. The effects are rubbish. The fight scenes are awful. Sometimes you can still laugh in the face of so much misery. Not here. The film is too miserable for that. Only the use of Claymation and animatronics generates any goodwill. That use is amateurish, but I thought I could tell the creator had done their job with love.

Aside from a fanciful title, a beautiful movie poster, and a stray dinosaur, there's really nothing entertaining about it. The film has little to offer. Troma, that is. I don't care for it.
