Nick Murder has a mistress and when his wife finds out by finding a pornographic rhyme in his pocket, Nick has to save his marriage. It's over with the peace in the house of Nick, Kitty and their three daughters. In no time at all, the entire neighborhood is complicit in his adultery and her revenge attacks.

Special and smooth film with excellent roles by James Gandolfini and Susan Sarandon. But it is an irresistible Kate Winslet, who draws film to herself. The role of a prostitute seems like the perfect fit for her.
It's nice how with very different types of music (almost all top hits) the dialogues and scenes are welded together. That leads to a sublime soundtrack. It's just a pity that Anna Identici's Quando m'innamoro is cut short.
It seems that director/writer John Turturro was inspired by one of the many Bollywood musicals in the street ballets.
Just a fun, light-hearted film about more or less everyday relationship problems. Well worth it.

The theme of love on the basis of a number of songs. A theme that is of course very well known and has been chewed up endlessly in countless films. That's probably why the director has put an emphasis on design here in this film. He is still nice in the first fifteen minutes with his dialogues and his songs, but it quickly gets boring. The story is still very thin. After all, nicely packaged air is still air. Only at the very end does the film manage to touch me somewhat, but then the design of the rest of the film is also let go. So give me a traditional love story with a real story that can touch you as a viewer. In any case, it was not the fault of the protagonists in this film.
