"A fiercely penetrating drama about a mother's love for her autistic adult son."

To protect her autistic son Brian, his mother lives a secluded life with him. She tries to isolate Brian as much as possible from the evil influences of the evil outside world. One evening he comes home much later than usual, not until around midnight. The next day, a girl is found dead in their neighborhood. Murdered. Driven by her maternal instincts, mother Nielsen tries to cover all traces that could point to her son as the perpetrator of this murder. But veteran Police Inspector Jensen, nicknamed the Fox, has tracked down Brian during his investigation and is determined not to let go of his prey. Meanwhile, the relationship between mother Nielsen and her son becomes increasingly difficult and unbearable. Their secret must not be known.
