A Strange Love Affair with Ego plot

Documentary about the boundary between healthy and unhealthy narcissism. Rowan, the sister of filmmaker Ester Gould, considered herself very special and was creative, smart, quirky and daring. Nothing and no one would stop her on her way to fame and recognition, until her ego collapsed at 32. Rowan found her great love a few years before her death. Only this love turned out not to be enough. With the help of four portraits of special characters, Ester Gould paints a loving picture of her sister Rowan.
